This is getting old and so am I.
Sawyer robs response was poorly worded.
It is the same as saying new holland does not have warranty covered by LS
LS makes the small tractors but new holland covers warranty.
The casual reader takes the statement that the tractor does not have a warranty
Not really.. I'm talking in proportional relation to the purchase price of both being new. I personally, and from reading the threads many others too, would not want to give you a next to new price for a TYM with no dealer nearby. I would however on a Kubota or JD. Probably my ignorance of TYM which I admitted but the fact is that ignorance of TYM is prevelant. Walk up to 10 people on the street and ask them if they were going to buy a tractor would you but a TYM or a Kubota or JD. My guess is they will say what is a TYM?
What about Mahindra. TYM made the old 10 series for them and continue to make the 2500 series tractor for them.
+1. You need to know the cost new vs used on this resale thing.
I didn't know that. Good to know I also didn't know TYM puts Yanmar and Duetz engines in their tractors which are both great engines. I guess I'm getting educated on TYM. As I said though I would consider one if a dealer was nearby. I know Mahindra is a great tractor I nearly bought one a few years back and did a lot of research about them. So if TYM is building a couple of their models I'm now changing my thinking about TYM. However, still doesn't change the fact that the TYM is not a name brand tractor (yet anyways).
