OK I will get the thread back on the no grapple track.

Backed the cedar tree cutter up to a double trunk tree, made the cut, but it fell on the ROPS and brushguard.

Could not drive out from under it.

Walked to the shed and got the no grapple TORO and picked up the tree.

That's why ALL tree shears should have an additional set of jaws up about 3ft from the cutters so they can hold the unbalanced tree and prevent that.

The big professional loggers do just that. From a distance you wonder how the hand feller can be so accurate. When getting up closer you see it is an automated feller. Then there are the feller/bunchers that take many at a time.
