Good luck Rc. My dealer came through pretty fast. Though this was a couple years ago now. I did send an email to Kubota prior to talking with the dealer. They got back to me as well and wanted to help. I told them that the dealer was working on it and I'd go through the dealer for the time being. A few weeks later Kubota sent an email asking if things had been resolved. If the dealer won't or can't cover the valve go straight to Kubota. They know the valve is bad. Under warranty or not I think they will cover it. (minus the labor)
