Thanks all for weighing in with your experiences, perspective, and recommendations. Considering the price of the MMM I very likely could have bought a nice used zero turn in stead. Alas, that is not the direction I took. I went with the b2650, 60"MMM deck, front loader with 60" QA bucket, 3rd function valve for loader, and the dealer recommended I do a 60" box blade, instead of the 54" I had requested. This he upgraded for no extra charge. I am still 50/50 on turf r3 vs the r4s, I did end up choosing the turf tires. Now I must wait the tractor is ready next week. Then I can put it to the test!
I was sent a teaser pic of the machine being equipped to my specifications.View attachment 459488

do you mind sharing the deal you got? I'm in the market for a remarkably similar setup and trying to gather some price data. Dealer here was right at MSRP :(

Heck, Mr. SpartanOrange how about posted your cost (rough) along with some photos after you get your new tractor home? A lot of us like to know what things actually cost, and by the way, that looks like a fine set of choices you made! You'll probably be happy with the turfs on your grass if your soil is anything like what I am used to in Indiana and Maryland, although the R4s would likely have been a better choice for messing about in your woods. I might have gone with a dedicated mower or a 5' rear finish mower, but who knows? You will like the SSQA, too!
