No good luck there for me. I use the Quantity method. Buy 20 of em and scatter them everywhere! Restock every so often as that is only a slowing of the process of the little leprechauns stealing them.
That's what HF freebies are for!

We don't have the right conditions to grow trees that big in northern MN. We have wee trees.

Not in the woods but in my lawn. I always back my vehicles out of the carport onto the lawn to work on them. Its quite common that I will drop a nut, bolt, pin etc into the grass. Its usually a special item - not available at the local hardware store. I've spent countless hours "parting grass" looking for lost parts.

Finally, I got smart. I bought a cheap metal detector to find lost parts. Now I never drop or loose parts anymore. Go figure.

The big magnets at HF work well also. Ours has paid for it many times over while putting in our dock at the lake.

Too right, and the rolling model has saved our car and tractor tires numerous times.

The spring-loaded model:

has found so many dropped (ferrous) metal parts, whether dropped in the gravel driveway or on the concrete floor, we will never be without one

I don't mean to be impertinent, but I think you mean "non-oxidized" until it gets into the cylinder, because oxidizing it prior to that usually turns out bad... And frequently explosively so...
You make a good explanation. Words have meanings. When I was typing that I got to were I had to type cylinder or carburetor, I should of stopped instead of picking the wrong one.

Hi Coby,

I stole all that from Wiki, and honestly, as I explained, I knew why you used the word oxygenated, and your joke with it was funny (to me anyway!).

... and cylinder is where you DO want the oxidation to take place (where the bang belongs), whereas in the carburetor IS where oxygenation (if you allow me to use the term loosely) should take place... In the form of aersolization or aeration.

My saw and mickey mouse ears where found in a different area than I was working neatly nestled together. I must have CRS.

At least you remembered you had a saw with you;)

All winter long while walking the dog in the woods, I take mental notes on what tasks I want to do in the coming summer. Unfortunately, my mental notes seem to be on an etch-a-sketch...by the time summer comes around, I'll just be doing things randomly as I stumble across them...assuming I can find the tools I need before getting distracted by something else.

To deal with that CRS factor I keep a small notepad in my back pocket. Now have to remember to write stuff down in that notepad...

In my case, it is more like something breaks (more and more often it's me...) or some other thing happens, and I get distracted "putting out fires".
