Tiller Need a tiller for my NhTC24DA

Hello, I have a new Holland TC24DA tractor and am looking to buy a tiller. I see the woodmaxx tiller and like what I see. Any input and opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like you need a 48" tiller for your size machine.
Would you need to have it shipped from the lower 48 to AK?
Seems like that would be VERY expensive.
Best bang for the buck might be a King Kutter (I have one),... but shipping?
Seller for King Kutter best price might be Blain's Farm and Fleet, but they are in the MidWest.
Northern Tool sells KK.
Perhaps there is a SEA dealer for KK also.

i also have a king kutter and have been very happy with it. Hasn't caused me any trouble and it is built very well. The woodmaxx does look good but to me the a frame where your top link hooks looks small and cramped. This is my OPINION so hope it helps.

I would think it needs to be wider than that to cover my tire tracks. Shipping to Alaska from Seattle is about 3-400 dollars. We Alaskans have been taken advantage of all of our live by companies that know we have no other choice. Its just something we have to live with. I have been looking at the woodmaxx tiller. looks like a good one but I am open to other suggestions.

Tractor Data didn't have much info other than 24 engine hp. So the pto hp is probably around 18. That is enough for a 48" tiller and you could do ok using a 54" tiller but it would be very slow going. If you have to get a 5' tiller, bring a thermos of coffee, you'll have plenty of time to drink it.

I have Kubota BX25D (23hp engine 17.5hp PTO) and a 4' Countyline (by Behlen) from TSC. For the ground I run over 4' is all I want for my tiller. Others say 5' is no problem.

However you go get something with a lot of weight so it doesn't jump around.

Going slower with a wider tiller is better than faster with a narrow one. Just make sure it covers your tracks by a few inches.
