Makes a great coyote or varmint rifle.
For the life of me, I can't understand why anyone would want an ugly black gun that really serves no sporting purpose. I own and shoot toms of firearms and not one black ugly gunn
Because they are a beautiful design, easily customized, a joy to shoot, the easiest to clean and service of any rifle, far easier than ANY commercial rifle with no military roots. Did I mention they are absolutely a hoot to shoot?
You obviously have a limited experience with a real rifle, one thats capable of accuracy (or can even shoot and kill) past 400 yards.
My opinion of a black gun is they are so popular because of the military / assault / tactical aspect, nothing more. They have been glamorized by the media. I'll put my 11 Savage accurized 338 Lapua up against your black gun, in fact, any black gun, anytime. I can slip in a 30 round mag and be accurate way past any range your black toy can shoot. Short tubed rail adorned black phospate rifles don't do it for me and I've never ever seen anyone hunt out west with one... probably because they cannot shoot distance.

You have your opinion, that's great! Many of us have a different experience. That's great too!
My best friend, in late 1960's, was the M16 that was my constant companion for 3 1/2 years. Guess where this happened?
Hey they don't have to be ugly. What color suits you?For the life of me, I can't understand why anyone would want an ugly black gun that really serves no sporting purpose. I own and shoot toms of firearms and not one black ugly gunn
