Agreed, I have never had a single person call it anything but a Kubota. They see orange tractor, so it is a Kubota.

I think that's part of the double edged sword Kioti must have anticipated when they picked that paint color. Maybe they didn't though.

You have to wonder what they were thinking.. Of course there are only so many primary colors to choose from, but I have been using my old Kubota touch up paint on my Kioti.

Kioti did used to make the engines for Kubota. Maybe they thought the similarity would work in their favor.

TYM (Tong Yang Moolsan) is a Korean brand and it is red. Century/Branson (Kukje) is another Korean brand, and it is also red.

Close, but I don't think it is exact.. The Rustoleum color called "Lobster Red" is VERY close, just a tiny bit too much red, but certainly good enough for painting implements and such.

Dupli-Color Chevy engine orange seems to be nearly a perfect match for my older model DK.

Vince do you know if Kioti changed its orange color when Kubota changed theirs sometime in the mid 2000's? I have both of the old Kubota colors and the new Kubota orange II in some left over cans and the new Kubot II is a perfect match for my 2012 Kioti DK35se.

Wasn't there was a law suit over paint colors a while back, I'm trying to figure out why Kioti would use the same color again?
I do believe they are using a slightly different orange than the older models.

Fred, you do know those aren't tractor pics, right?
Though if they were, they could easily be a Kioti or possibly even a Kubota tractor; hard to tell without a side by side comparison, which you should be able to provide when you get your new Kioti.

I can't say the orange paint outcome between Kubota and Kioti, but I can testify to Kioti going from a dark grey to an almost black, very dark grey for the non orange sections on the tractor body/frame, etc.
