County Line(TSC) Landscape rake

The ETA rake definitely looks more heavy duty than my County Line/tartar...and a better paint job. Glad it worked out.

I bought an 84" landscape rake at TSC last year. It was built, for TSC, by Behlen in Columbus Nebraska. It was new but, had been in inventory for a couple of years. Ended getting it for $400 drive out, regular price is $596.

Installed a set of gauge wheels, $190 from Rural King, that should help a lot.

Has some paint damage but easy to fix. Looks very close to Cat Yellow.

Working on a square tube parking stand for it now.

I'm still waiting for the ground to dry up.
More rain today (Michigan)

8 + inches !!!!!!!!!!!!!
I guess I should not complain about my 1/2 inch of rain

I'd been very happy to spread that over 8 weeks.

Doc, are you in Dryden or is that your name? I have kin in Lapeer Co, as well as Oakland Co and throughout the Thumb.

I took a hard look at the EA rake but when the TSC manager made me the offer I grabbed it up same day. My needs are light duty, primarily raking up sticks and twigs from dropping big dead trees. Don't need to dig deep, just touch surface. I think the gauge wheels will be a big help in keeping the rake from digging deep in that case. The mounting plates have mounting holes on 8" centers which exactly matched the bolts on the TSC rake. Installation was about 15 minutes.

I do like the slot on frame of the EA rake for top link, to let the rake float. I think I can do something with some 2 1/2" square tubing that would pin to top link connector on my rake and opposite end pinned to my tractor hydraulic top link. Extend top link for float and retract it to lift rake.

When you use yours, do you just extend your top link to be mid-slot?
