I'm interested in purchasing an enclosed trailer. Single axle 6x14 or possibly 7x16 tandem.

I really like Featherlite's trailers but they maybe too much money. Anyone have a suggestion on a good quality enclosed trailer?

I'm very familiar with flat bed and dump trailers. But enclosed trailers and companies that make them is new to me!

Thank you!

Triton makes some really good aluminum trailers. I currently own a Legend 27'. Although not as fancy as the Triton, it's still a well made trailer.

A friend of mine has an ATC trailer he talks about kindly, prior to that, he had a Wells Cargo that also served him well.

If you're going 14', I'd think long and hard about forgoing a single axle. Single axle is much more prone to bounce. I'll probably never own another single axle.

I had a Haulmark 24 ft for a while, also a Haulmark 6x10. Took them back and forth across the country several times each. No problems at all.

The OP doesn't specify where in the USA he is. That makes a difference on what's available. I've owned American Hauler, Haulmark and now (2) Kristi enclosed trailers. They all served the purpose well. If I'd wanted to spend almost double, I would have purchased a Blizzard all aluminum, manufactured about 60 miles from me.

I bought a single axle 6x12 Haulmark in 1995. It made approximately 20 1200 mile runs, plus lots of 100-800 mile runs. No problems. I still have it, although it is currently being used for storage. Good bang for the buck.
