JD switched to all electric SCV's a few years ago, it's kind a love em' or hate em' thing but installing restrictors is the correct fix.

I didn't know they used them on that size tractor. Totally understand them on large AG tractors. Does the "R" designation have anything to do with this. The M models don't use them do they??

What gripes me is my 32 year old Ford has speed adjusters on each individual rear remote as well as an overall speed adjuster for the entire hydraulic system including the 3pt. Seems everyone wants to charge more, provide less.......

Don't know about Deere of that size but the 8000 series tractor hydraulics are completely customizable. Flow, speed, duration, float, constant on each hydraulic through the computer. More control over them than any other hydraulics that I've used.

Yeah, that's not surprising on that size AG tractor. Would be really disappointing to pay a couple hundred "G's" for a tractor that didn't have those features.

I'm just curios if there's not some similar system on the smaller ones if they're electric over hydraulic?

Good question. I'll never know by personal experience. No new tractors on the horizon here......

I might stop by the JD dealer this week and see if they have any R tractors that small on the lot to check out.

I have the same setup. 3046R and rear top link controlled by thumb switch. Mine is not fast at all. I'm not sure what controls the flow. I will look. Very comfortable and EASY to adjust. It's just right.

Thanks!....The location is comfortable. I am putting on adjustable restrictors that I can reach out the back glass and adjust flow as needed with a knob. But I think once I get it set, it should be good.

Please send me some info for the restriction valves your getting, sounds like something would like to add to mine.

The rear remotes are handy, but they are fast moving.

Wonder if you put one in just one line if it would work?

Yes, that is how MtnViewRanch at FitRite sells his TnT setups. I only have one restrictor on each of my TnT cylinders. The rod end moves less fluid, so putting the restrict or on the cylinder end is more effective.
