that's funny. I grew up about five miles North of where Washington crossed the Delaware River to attack Trenton NJ. So the joke with anyone with old houses (ours was 1720) was to be able to say
Washington slept here.
That man had marketing power...and he did get around, but likely not everywhere reported

I saw a show about a Cajun fiddle maker. He had a sign in his shop that read, Stradivarius made about 650 Violins. Cajuns own about 1500 of them. Ed

Good Morning All, 67 this morning going to 85. 70% chance of heavy rain today. Got the lawn mowed yesterday and was finished before 9:00 am, moved some stuff out of the garage and down into the basement. Ran errands. today I started putting shelves in a closet and will likely mostly finish it today.

Daugen, Watched a couple try to fly a kite up at Big Meadows on Skyline Drive. They had a toy kite and never could get it up. At one time they were running with the wind. Sounds like you had fun.

Eric When will you know if you are still a part of the Union?

Tragic that people die for their beliefs, but it happens all too often. Great Britain is often held up by the American media as an example of how gun control laws make everyone safe. Clearly they did nothing to prevent this assassination.

Glad you enjoyed you kite flying outing, Drew! The mental picture of you chasing an octopus through the sky brought on a good belly laugh. :laughing:

Have now finished welding and grinding both roof drip rails and have only the top of the windshield to do. Hoping to finish that today. Then there are all the plug welds under the upper bunk supports, and that's likely to take another day or two. My body repair expert dropped by yesterday evening to take a look and was mostly pleased with what he saw. But now he's having trouble with one if his eyes, so it's likely I'll be doing most of the work under his direction. I'm actually looking forward to more hands on involvement as I'm sure to learn quite a bit, even being the old dog that I am.

A beautiful morning
My little boxer girl, Pele's heart gave out about 10 minutes ago. She passed quietly and peacefully, just after greeting me good morning with her tail a wagging per usual. She was a good girl, had a great life.

Sorry to hear of your loss. Both wife are getting some Doctor treatments. Yesterday Muffin our dog came down with a eye injury. You know who is getting all the attention. She is much better today
