Hopefully picked up tomorrow and delivered Friday or early next week. It will take some getting used to moving from an L4600.
I ended up getting the M5-091 cab with 34" radials, cast wheels, buddy seat, loader and two remotes. Just waiting for it to come in. Pretty excited.
I was going through a similar dilemma a couple years ago, regarding getting rid of my compact for a full size utility, mainly for more power and a cab with buddy seat.
I ended up not buying a new tractor and sticking with my little L series Kubota with no cab.
There isnt a single time I get on my tractor and don't wish that I had just bit the bullet at the time.
If you are in a position to be able to buy one now, don't wait too long! Just buy the larger tractor and have years of enjoyment ahead. If your anything like me, you'll wish you did when you could!
Have you gotten the new tractor yet? If so, how bout some initial thoughts on the upgrade? How is the buddy seat and extra room in the cab?
When I bought my tractor (first one ever) the thought of a buddy seat did not occur to me. I sure wish the dealer would have at least just said think about it. To upgrade now for just the extra seat is not worth it. But I really wish I had it. I don't have grand kids yet. (or a daughter in law) But my wife would like to ride with me cutting or baling hay.
It's supposed to be picked up today and delivered tomorrow or Friday. I plan on taking a lot of pictures because there is such limited information on the net about the new M series. I also got a new LP2512 batwing. The 12' I think fits my needs better.
