Want a bigger tractor. M5-091 too big?

I ended up getting the M5-091 cab with 34" radials, cast wheels, buddy seat, loader and two remotes. Just waiting for it to come in. Pretty excited.

Good on you. And as far as the extra price of the buddy seat, I'd say that having a use for a buddy seat is a treasure beyond price.

I was going through a similar dilemma a couple years ago, regarding getting rid of my compact for a full size utility, mainly for more power and a cab with buddy seat.
I ended up not buying a new tractor and sticking with my little L series Kubota with no cab.

There isnt a single time I get on my tractor and don't wish that I had just bit the bullet at the time.

If you are in a position to be able to buy one now, don't wait too long! Just buy the larger tractor and have years of enjoyment ahead. If your anything like me, you'll wish you did when you could!

When I bought my tractor (first one ever) the thought of a buddy seat did not occur to me. I sure wish the dealer would have at least just said think about it. To upgrade now for just the extra seat is not worth it. But I really wish I had it. I don't have grand kids yet. (or a daughter in law) But my wife would like to ride with me cutting or baling hay.

I agree. Now I have it plus a bigger more stable tractor. I'm glad I went with the M5 instead of the 7060.

Here are some pictures. I made the right choice as this M5 is an awesome machine. It's so quiet and comfortable and the ride is like a Cadillac. It cuts with the 12' land pride like nothing. With 540E engaged, it only spins 1500 RPM which keeps noise to a minimum. I have to listen to hear the cutter working. No more heat, bugs and allergies with this baby.
