She'll eventually find that reality check. It's in Chapters 11 and 13.

I never dabble in auto stocks but I recently checked out GM and Ford's return to investors and was shocked. GM is paying far less back to investors than Ford is(I forget the exact numbers but it was close to double). GM's profit is up but their sales are not that good. If the economy tanks again they are in serious serious trouble.

Well stated. Hopefully when it happens we'll have an administration that stands firm and lets them sink.

Oh, and those stupid commercials aggravate me so bad I change channels or mute the sound. What a crock. Even my close friend, dedicated GM guy, is embarrassed by them.....

Looking at the sales numbers last month while those adds were running, it really backfired on GM.

The GM ads are stupid. A 6.2 may be better for some things but not all things, fuel economy especially. Why have a truck for heavy towing if you never tow anything heavy. They try to make it like the 6.2 is best for everybody. It isn't. Between the new Ecoboost and aluminum body Ford invested over a billion dollars. That's not pocket change to anybody.

And good luck finding a 6.2 on the lot. Not to mention the RWHP the ecoboost puts out compared to the 5.3 and 6.2. It's staggering.

Don't be too much of a fan until you get past the 100K mark with no problems. I'm probably going back to GM when I decide I've had enough of this break down prone F150.

I think I'm going to stick with Ford for awhile. If the ecoboost turns out to give me trouble I'll probably track down a 5.0 somewhere. I just don't like the new GM trucks(16+) for the reasons I mentioned. I'm sure the truck market will look quite different by the time I'm ready to buy again anyways.

A friend of mine who's a mechanic and looks after his stuff has a chipped 3.5 Ecoboost with over 200,000kms and hasn't had any problems. He got it used too.
