Ford finally came to their senses

There are tons of EB trucks with well over 150,000 miles and the problems are few.

Except for the 16-valve SOHC VCT 6.2 L Boss engine, 411 hp (306 kW) @ 5500 rpm, 434 lbキft (588 Nキm) @ 4500 rpm

I said from 6 years ago. The 6.2L wasn't available then (I believe it showed up in the Raptor for '11). :)

Ford sells a ton of trucks each July - the employee pricing is an eye grabber.

I'd seriously consider an F250 Crew Cab 4x4 8' 6.7 or 6.2 for my next truck. Not much more than a GMC 1500.

Why would you let it go 9700-11,000 miles between oil changes? I think the message on the dash is saying it's overdue. Why treat a work truck any different than your personal vehicle? It's more likely to break down from lack of maintenance and leave you stranded which isn't going to make your boss too happy or your customer.
oil change message does not come on till right at 9800 miles. Direction is not to change oil till message show if it has an oil light!

Edit: when I first got this truck after the second 9700-9800 mile oil change light I googled it and some forums came up and several other drivers echoed what I saw...9800ish mile oil change intervals.

As an owner of a '12 F150 I totally disagree. I think these trucks are aimed squarely at the suburban market. I have had multiple problems with mine and I do use it for work. I'm at less than 80K miles and have already spent $3K in maintenance. Maybe I just got a lemon but I'm not impressed with Ford's version of "Ford Tough". PS I think I have a coil going out and I need to investigate that issue now as well as an AC that needs charged every few months.

An AC system if probably not model specific to this truck. I really would be surprised if it didn't use off the shelf parts from non Eco ford trucks.

Those Dumb Chevy Ads Couldn't Hurt The Ford F-150

A lot were government and fleet sales, though.

Market up 10% YOY, Ford up 10%, Chevy down 0.8%. Most of the growth was in the med-sized segment: Colorado, Frontier, and Tacoma.

Top 11 Best-Selling Pickup Trucks In America - June 216 YTD - GOOD CAR BAD CAR

There have been a lot of ford trucks purchased by the government (GSA in the last few years) . Alomost all our full size trucks coming in are fords. A few chevys and more Dodges than chevy in the last 2 years. So I can see the truth in this

Oh, and those stupid commercials aggravate me so bad I change channels or mute the sound. What a crock. Even my close friend, dedicated GM guy, is embarrassed by them.....

That woman that took over made a huge huge mistake by jacking up the prices and then refusing to do rebates. The public expects to get so much off on a new car because the car industry has trained them to expect that, now you go and take that away and expect us not to shop around? Ford will wheel and deal now (finally!) and RAM has always been willing to do it. Another mistake she made is who she's marketing her trucks to. Look at the adds, it's a bunch of young hipsters standing around talking about trucks and wifi. If she thinks that is who buys her trucks she's dead wrong. Turn off #3 is how they package their models of trucks(and cars too). If you're charging me $27000 for a Malibu with cloth seats while the Camry comes in XSE trim (next to top of the line XLE) where do you think I'm going to spend my money? If RAM is offering their ecodiesel in every single trim and Ford is offering the ecoboost in all their trims, why in the world would you force me to spend $50,000+ just to get your 6.2???? This lady needs a reality check.

haha, HIpsters talking about trucks and wifi!! haha. Like 99% of what I watch is on my DVR and I fast forward through commercials I almost never see one anymore so I have no idea what this commercial is but yea that sounds like the wrong crowd. They like those bubble cars or even not having cars which they think is cool, or tiny baby suvs to put their kyacks, bikes and paddle boards on top of to look cool riding them around.

Chipped EcoBoost 3.5 must have some serious output.
haha I read that as he had a ecoboost with chipped paint and those miles covering what we were talking about with body corrosion and engine longevity!! haha
