Can you explain the lift capacity? Is that the 3PH or the loader? How is it changed?

Attached is a photo showing the two mount points. I did manage to change out the configuration. The lower pins (one on each side) are for power as they provide more leverage. The higher pins more movement and height, less power. Swing takes only a few minutes, the trick being you have to use a block of wood to hammer in the primary pin. The holes don't quite a line when you switch it but there is a slightly beveled edge on the pin so you literally just pound it in and the force of that moves the pneumatics so they are aligned.

I bet most folks leave it in the lower position. I don't think I would ever change it if I owned one. I would just make sure that the lift height was sufficient in the lower position.

I have no intention of ever changing to the height mode. Power mode strikes me as the best setting by far. I'm uploading a nice video of the tractor in action today to YouTube - I will try to post it. I'll make a separate post on my first "working impressions".

Here is a short video of this tractor in combination with the Danuser Intimidator doing exactly what I wanted it for. It is a tremendously good tool for ripping out shrubs, knocking over trees, etc. Very good tool. It is less good at cleaning up the debris left behind however. In my 5 hours of working experience is takes an hour to rip out the trees, and 4 to clean it all up. Two tractors one with a brush grapple would be must more effective. When you get a better feeling of the loader control, you can use the joystick to move the cylinder to change positions. I can now do it about 5 minutes on our 7040. The difference is 210 lbs in lift capacity or 15" in height. I'm sure all of us can think of a time when just a little more height or power could help get the job done.
