Agree, no thread sealant necessary for the oil or hydraulic plugs, but a couple wraps of teflon tape is good for the front axle drain plugs. I don't find the front tires to be in the way, but putting the tractor up on jack stands is handy, otherwise the drain bolts of the front axle are very low and hard to get a pan under. The hardest part of the service for me was putting my rear tire on! They are loaded with Rimguard, so weigh over 100 lbs each. So I only take off what is absolutely necessary!
