It's been five days and still no update at the site regarding the hearing. Can't believe they can't update that thing more quickly than that considering the number of people watching...

Received this update from Heffler... Apparently those who don't agree with the settlement can file an appeal and those of us who do agree cannot comply until all appeals have been settled.

This message is an update on the class action filed with the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, in Chris P. Carter v. Forjas Taurus S.A., Taurus International Manufacturing, Inc., and Taurus Holdings, Inc., Case No. 1:13-CV-24583-PAS

On July 22, 2016, the Court entered an order granting final approval of the settlement. Under the law, those who filed objections have 30 days to file an appeal. To date, at least one appeal has been filed. The appeals process must conclude before the claims period can begin. Additional updates, including the finalized schedule and how to submit a claim, will be provided as soon as the appeals process is concluded.

Ugh - one person so far is slowing things down for the rest of y'all. Just like the one kid in class who reminds the teacher they forgot to assign homework right before the bell rings on Friday... Good luck!

I'm thinking maybe it's a good excuse to get another gun and trade this one for a G2 when the dust finally settles.

Still no movement on the case so I picked up a Springfield Armory XDS 45. Wow! Sure do like the feel of this and the slimness of single stack. Same or less perceived recoil even with the bigger caliber.
