TSC never keeps their stock up!!!!!

TSC has small stores around here so that limits what they can carry. That being said, why is it logical to use 25% of the limited floor space for horse feed? :confused3: Perhaps they haven't noticed tractors replaced horses?

Well at least horse feed is farm-related to a point. I hate all the junk they sell kind of in the middle of the store. Cheap patio furniture, lawn decorations, etc. It's a real turn-off to me when they have a half stocked hardware section and what I am looking for is not there. Or like someone else mentioned, they have one and I need X, but they have no idea when they'll get more and they won't order more for you, even though it is a stocked item.

The last I knew Grade 5's were $3.69/lb at TSC here in NY. They should be cheaper in TX.

same here in central Ohio. They were great 5 years ago. now the hardware and tractor parts are understocked, L & G parts and feed is overpriced. about the only thing we shop there is clothing during clearance time. with a RK in a former walmart building right next door, I am not sure how they are keeping the doors open.

You must be around Circleville. Combined with PBS Animal Health, you can get about anything you need for your animals.

I got a Group 58 battery at TSC today,,, $28 less than Sams or Walmart,,,
almost half the price of Advance Auto or the other auto big boxes.:confused2:

They hat PLENTY of batteries in stock,,, and "fresh" from the date codes I looked at,,,:cool2:

Luckily, I have 4 TSC's within a reasonable distance,,,
that might be the reason ours are well stocked,,

I feel your pain. I have 2 within 30miles. One is absolutely horrible for service and tons of empty shelves/missing items. The other almost as bad at keeping the shelves stocked but nicer about it.
I also frequently just buy from Amazon because I don't want to risk driving over there only to find the lynch pin (or whatever) I needed is out of stock.

The main reason I go to TSC at all, is, like someone else said, they have later hours than the local Agway store. If I need to run out and get something for the farm and Agway is closed I go to TSC. But in this case, since I got the Poulan chain saw there, I thought they'd at least have a common part like an air filter. I should have known better!!!

Rural King just came into Greenville Ohio. Moved into a x Kmart. TSC a block away. Shop both when in that town. Cat 2 3 point pin was 3 dollars higher at TSC. I knew because I had just purchased one 5 minutes ago at TSC. Tractor supply changes their suppliers to often for me. Buy a poulan saw and next year they carry a different brand. I got caught on a welder,battery charger and hand tools with a lifetime warranty. With no shoppers TSC clearance items are my only purchase. Both stores will keep track of what you buy for tax time.

I like Rural King a lot better! Too bad the closest one for us is 45 mins away!
