I just retired from the business of restoring antique and classic cars after having a career in management and IT. After I finish one last project for a client (a 1923 Mercury Speedster Body), I hope to find time to finish my own 1925 Ford Touring. It's been sitting in parts for years. A true "barn car".
I don't know if I'll ever get to the 48 Hudson or the two 63 & 64 Studebaker Hawks. I was also planning to use the 51 Chrysler Imperial as the donor chassis and running gear for a Chrysler K-310. The Imperial has Chrysler's first HEMI. I was going to make the body myself. But I've already determined that building a tractor cab w/air will be top priority.
Now that I've retired, seems like It takes me twice as long to do things with half as much time left. Hammering sheet metal has taken it's toll on the joints too.
