Odd. I live within 200 yards of the Atlantic Ocean and I guaranTEE there's skeeters here! About the only thing that provides any relief at all is a really cold Spring or a drought. We had both this year. Good for killing skeeter hatches, no so much for the garden...

I'm not so sure about that, our house is 250' from salt water... we have more skeeters than I care to think about.

I constantly will walk past our half bath, out the front, or side door, and move around different areas of the front of our house to pee. Drives my wife insane that I do such a thing. Asks me if I'm civilized, huh, she might have a point...
