Wow this is an interesting thread. The whole first page is a bunch of people bashing a product they've never used!
I run 3 on a big snow bucket and it beats the snot out of any pipe material I've tried (steel, various plastics, all broke or wore through super fast). They are very durable. Slide effortlessly. Keep my gravel in place and allow me to push snow at a high rate of speed without worrying about tearing something up. They come on and off very quickly, just keep a ratchet with you on the tractor.
Each snowfall I clear snow off of an assortment of gravel, broken up asphalt, and brand knew pristine asphalt driveways, about 1/2 mile of lane in total per storm. For that mix of surfaces you can't beat them and you can take them off quickly to scrape down when desired.
