That would have been pretty cool to see the space shuttle being, shuttled around like that!

I've seen a few UFOs
One time in daylight was a bright green streak in the sky diagonaling to the horizon. I ran towards the end of the house to try and keep it in view, right smack dab into one of those half barrel flowerpots. Another was pretty neat, late sunset, turned out to be a formation of helicopters flying toward me, then turning to the left and landing, one after another.

Not sure where the pics are but we watched the shuttle on piggyback from the top of our building at work some years back. It was pretty cool to watch as they circled the city and came right over us tilted sideways for photographing.

after I shoot at it, I like moving targets.

(Once again, the L.A.P.D. is asking Los Angelenos not to fire their guns at the visitor spacecraft. You may inadvertently trigger an interstellar war.)

line from the original Independence Day movie:D

Good memory for a 20 year old movie, you must own it. So far for a UFO creature feature movie, I like the movie Battleship the best, the UFO didn't stay UFO very long and one of my favorite line's in that movie is, "who's communicating what with who" favorite scene is the USS Missouri firing the big guns, I turn the surround sound up on that

guilty as charged, :D liked Battleship a lot to.

jmo but The # of stars /planets just in the Milky Way is enough for me to believe it is unlikely that we are alone.

Have seen a couple things in the sky that moved in ways that conventional craft just can't (high speed right angle turns without slowing down) and in both those cases, other people in the group pointed them out first.

I don't feel to bad though since Ronald Reagan, Jimmy Carter and even Kelly Johnson (designer/builder of the A12/ SR71) also saw (UFOs.) Then the Phoenix lights where the governor made a joke of what 1000s saw and then years later admitted he had seen something unexplained to.

Ever see any unusual craft flying over your property?

I saw this thing a couple of months ago and got a little video of it. It is cylinder shaped and I could not make out any wings, engines, or rotors. It was dead silent and left no trail like I had seen from some jet planes that day. It's too far away to say it's some kind of alien craft but I thought it to be peculiar.

After searching for cylinder shaped UFO on YouTube it seems that many folks have seen similar craft and got much better footage of them than I was able to.

Looked like an airplane with a white body and darker wings to me. I've lived by an airport for nearly 50 years. And we live near a major east/west route out of Chicago. Lots of planes not high enough to make contrails. Some look very strange with the paint schemes they have.

I will just say a couple of things. I am 62, and I have never seen a UFO. Or at least something I could not explain given half a chance. I have also never seen a tornado in real time. I sure have seen the after effects of those though. I will also say given how big even just our galaxy is, and the number of stars and planets, it would seem incredible to me that there could not be life or even intelligent life out there. I have no proof of that of course. But my gut feeling is that there is more than just "us".
All of that said... I have not seen any craft or LGM's. I will let you all know if anything changes.

I've only seen one UFO that I could not explain. I was about 14, in a car, driving with some of my sister's friends that were about 11 years older than me, to get a pizza at night. A bright light in the sky flashed about 6 times.... from east to west horizons, in about 5-6 seconds. Blink, blink, blink. Blink, blink, blink. Horizon to horizon.... And it was gone. I was stone cold sober. My sister's friends were most likely herbed up (this was about 1975). I said "What's that?" They looked. They yelled. They freaked out. We got the pizza and they told the story better than I could.

Anyhow, I've seen some pretty impressive fireballs, and a couple of incredible bolides in my life. And as I've mentioned before, I've been around airports and airplanes most of my life. This didn't appear to be anything I've ever seen before or since. So, it was in the sky. It appeared to be flying. And I couldn't identify it... so.... UFO I guess. ;)

Oh, and for tornadoes, just about a month or two ago, I added it up and I've been within 1/4 mile of at least 8 tornadoes as they happened, and I've never seen one in 55 years, either.

For one thing when I have had opportunities to see a tornado around here it is usually raining very hard and so dark you couldn't see your hand before your face.

Not to mention I live in the woods and can't see anything coming anyway..

We had a tornado come by one night around 40 years ago. It really did sound like a freight train. I said a prayer and went back to sleep. The next day the barn was leaning to it's side and some bricks were missing from a chimney.
