Ball hitch for tractor.

This unit arrived via FedEx today. I'm very impressed. It is well made. Pins screw into the lower bar, no nut. All hitch pins came included. Good welds. Yes, it is a simple product but everywhere else I looked they cost twice as much. This was $55, free shipping! Arrived in 3 days! Very pleased.

Titan stuff is a good deal. I'm happy with the attachment I bought from them.

It came in handy today. I got a doe this morning. I skin in the bay that my trailer sits in. Backed tractor up to trailer, lifted ball into hitch, pulled trailer out. Skinned the doe. Backed trailer right back in. Much quicker than doing it with the truck which is fairly time consuming with just one person. As mentioned by others with more experience, the trailer never caused the lift arms to rise above where I had set them. I think if the trailer was loaded I'd probably put a check chain on there just in case but with it empty, no problems at all.

I have moved 25,000# boats around with my 3 Point Reese Hitch. I never even latch the ball coupler let alone a chain.

Never a issue even in our soft gravel lot.

Yesterday I pulled a tandem axle bumper hitch trailer 4 miles one way to load and haul some poles using the 3pt trailer hitch. Never a worry about it. Did latch the ball coupler just in case I had an issue with road traffic.

A trailer mover is on of the best attachments you can have for a tractor.

If you have trailers to move.

But now that I have a large trailer and this hitch, I agree completely.

What is amazing, is once you have one you kick yourself for not getting it sooner. Helped a neighbor today to get his trailer parked for winter. He and his wife were fighting getting it parked correctly. Was quite entertaining until the &^%$*@* started. I put on the front SSQA Titan unit and drove over. After a bit of arm twisting I got him to drop the trailer (35' luxury monster) and let me park it. Took 2 minutes to park in their RV pole barn (longer than that to get his hitch out) and they had been at it for an hour. It was a tight fit with not much room on the sides. They wanted to pay me - I said no way, just pass it on to someone else or their church fund and next time just call. They have been good to us noticing if one of the critters in not doing well. They are good folk and dont like asking for help. Ill be plowing their drive way this winter for free too (they dont know that yet). They are getting long in years. The fringe benefit is I know one of her fantastic pies will show up - payment enough. :D

The best of the holidays to everyone.

I built this one a few years ago for my tractor. The advantage to this design is that it can be mounted in a matter of seconds, I can change ball sizes easily, it extends a little further from my bucket to aid in maneuvering, I don't have to worry about removing anything attached to the 3-point.

Saw this on the internet. Going down hill w/o locking the GN hitch.

Hope this wasn't a TBN member.

That's very handy!!!! Tongue weight might become an issue but would be great for light loads!!!!
