I just finished installing a 3pt hitch Woods BH7500 backhoe on my 3520R!! Really anxious to try it out this coming weekend! I have 38 hours on my Branson since I purchased it in June this year, really love it!!!!

Congratulations!

The backhoe is a wondrous attachment. It's not quite mowing season here though things are greening up now so it will be soon. Being a native New Yorker it's still strange that mowing season is winter and spring. Anyways because of that and the fact I don't have a brush hog yet, the backhoe stays on. You'll be amazed at how much you improve your efficiency and feel.

One thing I've found with the backhoe is that the tractor is a bit light on the front wheels and tends to understeer. To combat this I pivot the backhoe to the side a bit to keep weight closer to the rear axle... every bit helps. Also I split the brake pedal and use that to tighten my turns.

I got the hydro for my wife to use but wish I'd gotten the gear tractor like yours. Other than that, loving my 3520H. It's a real workhorse.

Ran the hydraulic lines for the grapple to the rear remote... I debated on getting the 3rd function for the joystick but after using it this way I'm actually good with how it's working....View attachment 486220

Does that mean you operate the grapple function with the 3point lever?

not the 3-point... there are 2 levers just to the right of the seat on top of the fender, one lever is a return to center and the other stays where you put it... the return to center is what I operate the grapple with, the other will be used for a log splitter that I will be getting shortly... there are 2 sets of hydraulic connectors above the pto, the lines for the grapple run from there...

Today, moving wood from a chopped down tree and moving about 100ft of field fence to another area to access a spot I wanted to clean out.....used my handy around the house guy for that.

I spent a rainy day welding on grab hooks all over my attachments.

There's 3 on the FEL bucket, 3 on the pallet forks, 1 on the backhoe bucket, 1 on the drawbar, and 1 on the 3-point hitch trailer hitch attachment.

I'll post photos sometime soon.

I'm gonna buy this lifting tong from Northern Tool... it's got 3 points instead of 2. I might use it for logs someday but right now it'll be used to move boulders around as I work on the retaining wall project.

Today was vacuuming leaves with my DR leaf vac into a pile that I picked up with the 2400 loader and put in a JD Model N (antique) poop slinger. Then hooked the 2400 to the poop slinger and spread leaves on one of my hay patches.

We've been getting lots of rain lately including all day today.

I'm good with the rain as until last year we were in the midst of a 5 year drought so rain is good.

I just wish it wouldn't always rain on the weekends, which is when we go out to the land to work on our projects.

Back when I was working and fishing for sport, weekends were it for the fun. Seemed the bad weather hit my area most Friday's sending the Bass deep with lockjaw. Really got tired of it.

We had our drought too. About 5 years of it. It lifted a couple of years ago and I am glad about that.
