The Westendorf Brush Crusher attachment is used for clearing trees, handling brush, or even cleaning up trees and debris after a storm. The Brush Crusher Model 4215 is a mid-sized model of the Brush Crusher line-up, and is adjustable so you can get the tooth action that you need (wider or...
Who makes a grapple that will hold up to a TV620B CTL? I've had one for my TV450 that has held up reasonably well for 5 years with only one weld repair but I'm afraid I'm going to ruin a good grapple if I put it to heavy use on this machine.
After a zillion years, I finally bought a grapple. By a zillion, I mean to say I've been shopping for a grapple for almost as long as since I was shopping for a tractor, because I was sure I was going to get one for it, and I've had the tractor almost eight years now... why did I wait? I'm...
Hi,
I am thinking of getting a Kioti KG-2060 grapple for my Kubota L2501.
It's available locally (big win for me given I am in the NW and everyone adds shipping to their prices for our area), "seems to be" well made, and has what I think is a reasonable price ($2000) from a shop that I like and...
Wondering if anyone can recommend a rotating grapple for a Kubota kx057. I have a lot of woodland and stream bank work to do!
Thank you for any pointers,
Chris
If you have the capabilities of welding and minor fabrication skills, this may be the ticket for a much less expensive grapple. Do keep in mind that you will still require a loader frame mounted 3rd function hydraulic capability to operate it. In my case, I just 'borrowed' one of the rear...
Looking for opinions for bolt on bucket grapple. Looks like easy to install/remove. My tractor bucket is not quick detach that's why this choice.
Also no 3rd function. What about hydraulic power unit similar to one on dump trailers? I could mount this somewhere with second battery.
Please share...
I am considering the purchase of a compact tractor with a front end loader but with a grapple rather than a bucket. I have not yet begun to visit dealerships but before I do that, is it possible to purchase such a tractor with a grapple rather than a bucket or is the bucket a standard...
During Helene I lost about six big trees in my goat pasture to including three Chinaberry trees. Chinaberry leaves and berries are poisonous to goats so I have temporarily moved the goats to another pasture. I'm sure it'll be very expensive to have a professional cut up the trees and dispose of...
It has been about 12 years since I first installed my 3rd function. I have a new tractor so I have to do it again. There is something I cannot remember about the valve. I have an open system. For a grapple, do I need a tandem center valve or open center. If my memory serves me, and it...
Would that work, or am I just going to damage the grapple sooner or later? It would be used for logs, rocks and brush so probably nothing to heavy (famous last words!).
I'm looking at one of these two units.

I just bought a used ck 3510se/c. The previous owner has hydraulic lines running to the loader. He had a snow plow that has 2 cylinders for angling the blade. The lines run to the rear hydraulic ports. I have a new grapple mounted and it only opened but won’t close with the lever C D next to the...
Has anyone purchased one of these, used one or heard anything about them. I’m in need of a 4’ or 5’ grapple with double cylinders. There are several videos but all by the manufacturer. Thanks.
This is where I began. I have no hydraulics at the front except for the loader. I started shopping and found the Innovative tractor attachments for about $600 but it's only a diverter valve. So I started shopping for full 3rd function valves. The price is all over the place. Lane Shark is $2000...
I just did a search here using that phrase. Only one thread even mentioned the options when it comes to grapples.
What would go into decision making between the two?
I live and work the tractors in hilly, rocky, 130 year old maple and hemlock forest. (with a couple of oak, cherry, hickory...
Started to pour rain so I came in to ask rather than looking for myself :)
Using my grapple for about 3 hours. Worked fine. I was just finishing up by relocating two beams to another pile.
As I backed away after picking them up there was a steady pour of oil from one end of the grapple but...
i have a 1996 JD 6200 w/a GB440 FEL. I'd like to buy a 72" grapple to help me with all the downed limbs and storm debris on my property. Who makes a solid dependable grapple that would fit my old JD?
I know you can buy these for $1000+, but I have my time and old metal....also I have a few ideas that just are not an option.
Biggest thing is we have alot of rocks to sort and dig up, most are softball size up to triple Y's (or 2 basketballs taped together) ;)
So I started to cut a few pcs...
I sold my large tractor last year. I know I am going to buy a smaller 4 wheel drive FEL and backhoe combination this year.
I am determined that I will never again buy a tractor without a third function. A bucket grapple seems the only logical solution.
I spend about 1/2 my time digging and...
I've got a 2004 Century 3647 and it's been great. 47hp. Strong, absolutely reliable, only have had to do basic service, and rebuild the hydraulics on the front end loader.
I'm trying to find a fork attachment for the loader. I've already got the kind you attach to the bucket, but that's not...
Its finally coming time where I'm going to buy a grapple for my tractor, I always planned to buy an EA 72" wicked root grapple with dual lids, it appears I waited to long to do this now. Any recommendations on a similar grapple. I liked how light and strong they were, anything similar out...
I am adding a third function to my 2009 Kubota L3400 HST tractor and am looking for advice on what size grapple would be best for my tractor. I would mostly be using it to pick up brush and limbs/logs and move them around.
Currently I use my forks and have moved literally tons of stuff but it...
I have a ym 3810d and would like to add a grapple. Has anyone added a 3rd function to one of these older yanmar's? If so where did you buy it and did you just tie into the power beyond side of the hydraulic valve?
Looking for opinions. I just installed a 3rd function kit on my tractor and am looking for a grapple. I found the Catawba 60" rake grapple and it looks like a great product. Does any one have any input on this unit. I have attached the link as well. Catawba 60 Rake Grapple
Shopping for a grapple and see that there are two distinct styles. One has a long horizontal bottom / base with a closing claw, and one is more of a clam shell, with little to no lower horizontal bottom.
What are the intended uses of the two different styles?
Thanks.
I would like to understand what would take to install a grapple to my bucket, similar to this Kubota B3030:
I suspect I'd need to install front hydraulics and buy the grapple? Is this correct?
And should this be done by the dealer or possibly a DIY project?
My end goal is to be able to...
Gonna be a long day waiting for the work day to be over. Just seen on the security cam that my Homestead Implement 55" Pinnacle grapple was delivered a few minutes ago. Can't wait to put it to work!
Looking at rake grapple and down to 3.
Land pride, WRLong or Iron Craft.
The Land Pride I was thinking of is the 0660.
Any advice would be welcomed.
Have a 40 hp tractor.
I saw some videos on stump bucket attachments, particularly the ones with the grapple. Started to interest me. But then I looked into it and saw a couple threads on here that said you’re likely to damage your front end loader. But most of those seemed to be talking about somewhat smaller...
This will be a long post but I believe if you are asking for help you need to give all the details/information available.
Background:
Land Pride Grapple SGC0660 will not open
Have owned for 3 years with no issues (familiar with quick connectors and how to depressurize before disconnecting)...
While browsing grapples for my Yanmar YT235C I ran across an ad from a fairly large tractor dealer that's not far from me. After looking more closely at the pictures I liked what I saw so I started asking questions. He claims that they are made by Carolina Implement (not to be confused with...
Anyone have the wr long rbg3 grapple? Any thoughts on the more exposed cylinders and hoses? Trying to decide between thst and the stinger grapple. Thoughts on single vs dual lid?

Found a new 84” Wildcat grapple for $2,300 on FBM
Can’t imagine it’d be that great for that low a price, but anyone have one?
Going on a 130HP tractor.
I’m all for “buy once, cry once”, but this one seemed reasonably priced.
Already have 1 rear valve. Wont be using it much. Any shortcuts to getting hydraulic hoses from front to rear? By shortcut i mean ready to go...or will i need to custom make and give every detail/angles/fittings?
Did the shopping, ordered a Frost Bite GR-2o, put it together and it is looking good.
I see the holes where teeth would bolt up, wondering if teeth are needed.
As a low volume user, not likely the lower jaw would wear enough to justify, any opinions?
So my new Precision 327 grapple is on it's way to me. I anticipate pulling out lots of Honeysuckle, Multiflora and years of accumulated downed trees. I don't have many flat safe places to burn stuff.
One spot would be on a food plot.
My question is if I have a brush/wood pile fire, what will...
Now that it looks like an EA wicked grapple doesn’t seem to be an option, what direction would someone go to for a new grapple for a compact tractor that’s strong and around 400 lbs or less? Homestead, MTL, or another option?
@Hay Dude
How do you like your grapple in the below picture does the single grapple tooth hold brush good and do the pallet fork work good for picking up brush?
Finally posting some pics. Sold the old single lid root grapple and fabbed up this twin lid lightweight one more suited to handling logs, firewood, roots, rocks, brush etc.
Specs:
* AR400 laser cut profiles
* 66.5" width, 31" deep bottom, 40" grapple max opening, can hold 20" log when grapple...
So I have been looking for a grapple for the TYM T474 I just ordered, not sure what type, brand, size, etc, I wanted. Just watching YouTube videos to see what would catch my eye. Well one did catch my eye. The EA Everything Attachments WICKED 55 Root Rake Grapple. The videos I watched showed...
I've been getting overwhelmed with invasives like buckthorn overtaking my fencelines and I've finally taken some action.
I fabbed up a 36" wide root rake bucket based on the geometry of my 24" trenching bucket. My goal was to have it work wth my existing hydraulic thumb without any...
The 1460 I recently purchased came with the utility grapple that I'm not going to use, already have a grapple.
Wanted to see if anyone wanted to trade for/towards a Mower/Bush Hog/Power Rake/ or other 1460/2460 attachments?
Let me know what you have. I'm just north of Charlotte, NC. Willing to...
Hey fellow tractor users, I’m back with another DIY video this time installing a Summit hydraulics 3rd function kit to use a grapple on my Kubota L3301.
The kit was really easy to install and works great. If anyone has questions let me know!
I have a NH powerstar 75. It has a factory installed remote on the loader. Purchased a grapple and unable to get it to open and close. Contacted dealer. They recommended cycling the grapple up and down and rotating it. Tried it for a few minutes, didn’t seem to help. I loosened some of the...
Morning folks,
What are you guys using for grapples? I've been shopping marketplace for light duty grapples with plans to have a welder get me set up for power trac duty. I'm not finding many that wouldn't be way oversized for the PT. Of course I looked at PT grapple options, seem pretty...
I want to add a grapple to my Zetor 3340. It has a Series 102 FEL. I want to add a 3rd function valve. Where does the hydraulic line come from to go to the 3rd function valve?
Artillian is a U.S. manufacturer of attachments for compact and sub-compact tractors, specializing in pallet frames, pallet fork sets and grapple systems.

Here is another question in connection with my upcoming purchase of a Kubota 2501HST with FEL and 3rd function valve. I'm planning for R4 tires and rear wheel spacers. The primary intended use for my tractor is brush clearing and road maintenance. My property here in the Texas hill country is...
After much research including reading dozens of threads on TBN, I'm about ready to pull the trigger on my first tractor -- a Kubota L2501 HST. Since one of the primary uses will being clearing cedar brush (here in the Texas hill country we refer to juniper as "cedar"), I am strongly considering...
Sorry for the long post….
I’ve intended to get a grapple for my Kubota LX3310 since day one, and have searched the options extensively. Only reason I haven’t purchased is “paralysis by analysis”. Just can’t decide.
I know the “rake” style grapples are very popular among CUT owners with...
Hey guys, i have a 5 year old Kubota BX2380 with a diverter on front that operates a grapple. When i use the grapple for 20 minutes or so, the pinch mode will stop working. Won’t open or close. Let it set for 5 minutes and it starts working again. My guess is that is overheats. Any ideas...
Long time project in the making, kept me off these forums for a while! I put the tractor to work on this one! The wife wasn't around during most of the dirt work, so there aren't any pictures there. Me and the little man put some seat time in for sure though!
I feel like my RK24 is still new. But it now has 160 hours on it. Got it last fall. Purchased with backhoe and normal loader. Added a grapple to make this little tractor a real tool in the stable. I chose the RK24 for it’s size and was willing to accept the smaller tractor performance. Working...
I am starting to look for a grapple for my Bobcat CT2035 (35HP, 1650lbs lift). I really like the root grapple from EA (Subcompact Compact Tractor Wicked Root Grapple 50'' Single lid). The 54" is only 250lbs and 275lbs with the extra slats. I am fine with the single lid, as it keeps the weight...
I hope that this thread will continue as others perform maintenance or adjustments on their tractor. Century included.
My tractor seemed to be struggling with HP lately. The tractor did not roll on a slight incline as it did in the past. It turns out that the brakes were sticking.
I pulled the...
