Here's the newly welded grab hooks on the Branson.

There also one I welded on the backhoe bucket and one on the 3-point hitch trailer hitch attachment.

It has been snowing hard for the last couple days here, and I have been welding hooks and clevis mounts to my front end loader. Today I was going to figure out how and where to mount a tool box, but I watched Football instead.

I never thought of welding a hook to the drawbar .:duh: Huh, Looks like I'll be welding one to my drawbar.:)

I ordered 10 hooks for 64 bucks including shipping, Grade 70 3/8" so I started brainstorming where I was gonna mount them.

I ended up welding 9 of them but ran out of places.

I'm gonna mount a toolbox somewhere behind the seat.

It looks like if I move my "slow moving vehicle" triangle reflector back a bit that there should be room there.

With a cab, there is no room behind the seat, and it is not a convenient place anyhow. I too could remove my "slow moving vehicle" sign and mount it there. But on mine it is above eye level. A fixed tool box would require using the "feel method" to find stuff inside. So it would have to be easily removable without being self-removing over bumpy ground. Still scratching my head. I bought an ammo box at Harbor Freight and painted it red. It should work good as a waterproof tool box. The only thing that won't fit in it is my hammer (most important tool for a mechanic of my skill level:)) I will go work on that today.

I too have a 4720,look on top of the rear right fender there are some holes with grommets in them.Remove 2 or 3 of the grommets, buy a cheap sears tool box (many sizes available) they are already the right color.Put a few strips of weather stripping on the fender so you do not scratch it. Mark the bottom of the box thru the holes and drill them.Works great.

I too had thought of the fender location but I'd actually like to buy another cupholder from Branson and install that so I have one on each fender. Those suckers seem to come in handy for me.

I think the 4720H and 4720CH are quite different in regards to available area on the fender. Attached are the pictures of how I finally mounted the ammo (tool) box. Was quite a trick to find a place that wouldn't interfere with the rear window opening, didn't hang out to where it would get knocked off, and I could remove it easily (too high to easily get inside where it is mounted). Also I included pics of my clevis mount and hooks I put on the bucket. Not the best welding job in the world, but they will hold.

Cougsfan, your old 70's dirt bike has a recoil starter on it... ?!?
I've only seen that on FL250 Honda Odyssey engines.
