Goose have you not learned anything yet? Besides the Original Post and maybe your 4 other posts in this entire thread the rest of it is pretty much 34 pages (and counting)of dribble and bickering excuse makers for Ford.
I learned long ago that if John Deere is criticized on a big tractor AG forum or if Ford is criticized pretty much anywhere then the excuse makers always present themselves. (Luckily Tractorbynet is not as bad with the forum backlash with criticizing Deere as TBN is mostly compact tractor based) but it is still there somewhat.
Good luck on your next truck whatever the brand choice ends up being. I have test-driven several brands over the past 6 months: Sat in a Chevy 1500 and did not even drive it as it does not fit me headroom department. Sat in a chevy 2500 and did not drive it either as again it did not fit me again with headroom wise. F150 with 5.0 (liked it), Ram 1500 with 5.7 (loved it), 2017 F250 with 6.2 (hated the truck handling and ride which was horrible but liked the powertrain rather well), Nissan Titan XD with (borderline headroom for a 6'5" guy but still had to scrunch down sometimes to see out the windshiled, rode nice and handled nice but the engine is pretty gutless until it gets above above 3200 rpms then it pulls strong. Several instances of total accelerator dead pedal on my brief test drive which I did not like at all). Ram 2500 with 6.4 (like it real well except for how tall it sits in the air and that is really my only complaint with it).
Overall I am glad I did not buy either 1/2 ton truck that I liked (I came real close to buying on the Ram 1500 and would have if the dealership would have simply honored their advertised price on it). I have since added a dump trailer tool/toy and a heavier truck would be a better fit for that. Still trying to justify all that cash they want for any of the new ones though but it looks like if I make a purchase it will be for my first ever Ram and also my first ever 3/4 ton.
