Hi does anyone know where the serial number tag is located on a tc45 tractor. I found one on left hand side on the transmission but the numbers don't make any sense as far as the year it was made. Someone from a new holland parts dealer said there should be a tag on the frame of the tractor not on the loader. I haven't been able to find it.

On my dx 40 made by same company it is easily visible on the frame left side just in front of front axle.

From reading on line I think you have the right tag on the transmission. Not sure how to determine the year but on my tag the second number is an 8 so i assume it means 2008 that is what my tractor is and it is the only 8 in the number. I also have a number for the transmission and engine on the same tag.

My tag says Tractor number: G525268 Model: TC45s so maybe mine is 2002. I have the hood with the 2 square headlight lens. I bought the tractor used and the person didn't have the paper work but thought it was 2000 or 2001, they bought it new. From what I have found out so far, Is that differant models like the tc45 tc45a tc45d all had differant headlights from year to year. I haven't found a tc45s yet so don't know what that means for my tractor. I know from looking at the tractor specs on tractor data that the tc35 ,tc40, and tc45 all use the same chassis. Hope this helps. I'm looking for the year so i can buy a repair manual for the right tractor and to buy parts should i need them. Also i've read some post about super-steer, how can i tell if mine has that. Thanks

Supersteer front axle pivots in the middle, as well as each wheel turning as a car's front wheels. Can't help w model/serial #.
