If I wanted a narrow grapple, I'd just get a thumb for the backhoe.

I actually might want to use it on my L5030 also. Just can't use it on my massey, no FEL.

Totally understand your feelings. Maybe, go offline and hookup direct with Travis and the guys at EA. I can assure you that they won't steer you in a bad direction. Good luck with your selection and let us know what you end up with. Feel free to PM me or anyone for info. We're all here to help.

I was responding to Travis when I asked the question, and he did respond. Now it's up to me to order. My wife asked me about buying something for $150 the other day, I said, well I want a grapple, so we are even. Then I made the mistake of telling her the price of the grapple. Lol.

My sister in law used to live down near EAs location, I used to go down there a lot. She moved so I don't travel that way anymore, or I would stop by and visit.

I have. I own three grapples. 1. narrow, light, single lid L grapple. 2. Wide, heavy dual lid L grapple. 3. Wide single lid Rake grapple.

By FAR the narrow, light single lid L grapple is the most versatile.
