locknlube cupler for a grease gun

I just got a new Lock and Lube after 3 years of abuse. Was glad to see they now come with a rebuild kit.

Same here on the rebuild kit, that's put the customer first:thumbsup:

Hmmm... I'm trying to think of where the longer coupler would be needed. Don't get me wrong, I love my Lock N Lube coupler. However, in the instances that it wouldn't fit it was always because it was too long. Longer would just make it worse. Now, if they could devise a right-angle version THAT would be killer.

There are 90 degree adapters available, just screw a zerk in the end and lock onto it with the LNL:

Follow the link. They list a few places. I've got a few that would definitely be easier to reach with this. The locking mechanism makes lever gets in the way, u-joints are an excellent example.

It fits the recessed pins on my L4060 loader (LA805 I think).

Thank you all for your input to this thread. I recently got a new Kioti NX4510 and had trouble getting grease into some of the fittings. i guess everything is so tight that the path of least resistance is to bypass the fitting and come out around the coupler even with heavy pressure on the coupler. I searched the site and found this thread. At first I was surprised at the cost of the LockNLube but decided to bite the bullet and order one. It works great! I can now get grease into all of the fittings without making a mess. Over time, I expect the LockNLube will pay for itself not only in using less grease, but certainly with less aggravation.

I think that's where many of us came out on this as well. "Too expensive" when we were sitting behind the comfort of our computers and "damned worth it" when we were underneath something trying to get the coupler to stay on a particularly difficult fitting.

I now enjoy using it, even on the easy fittings.
