I think that's where many of us came out on this as well. "Too expensive" when we were sitting behind the comfort of our computers and "damned worth it" when we were underneath something trying to get the coupler to stay on a particularly difficult fitting.

I now enjoy using it, even on the easy fittings.

Oh my Chinese special works just fine. That's as long as you've got one hand free to keep it jammed down real tight and straight or the grease is in the mood to go in. And then you get the little issue of getting it back off the zerk after it's decided to lock itself on some buried fitting. Then there's those odd fitting locations where there is nothing to lean or jam the gun against so you can use the casting for leverage to brace against. Other than that�� The Chinese fittings work fine.
I never really much care and could live with all those headaches easily until I got this modern tractor covered with fittings a Backhoe with even more. Now I'm gonna get me one a those!

I've got two LnL's so I put all the spares in a zip lock bag and keep them with my spare grease zeros, etc.

Are those lock and lube sold in parts store or off line? I found another brand but not 100% pleased with it.

Not quite accurate on the sales tax... at least shipping to WA state. I have been an Amazon Prime customer for several years now and I pay tax on some orders and no tax on others. I shop comparing 'to my door' cost. I would say that on more than half my purchases, I don't pay tax. Sometimes I buy on Prime (free two day shipping), and sometimes not... all things considered.
