I have ordered replacement straight BSPs for my Kioti. But the two that need to be replaced with 90s are located under the pedals/floorboards. Odds are that replacement angled zerks may not tighten down to the proper angle for use with this larger coupling in this area. Sometimes it is easier to use an adapter. Plus this adapter makes any angled fitting greaseable.

Those were my thoughts exactly. Lincoln adapter seems to work well.

I have one of those Lincoln 90 degree adapter fittings you noted and my results were not great. Wonder why Kioti would use BSP fittings?

I don't have a clue, you would think they would be metric.

Concerning pipe thread,I've found that domestic equipment uses NPT(National Pipe Taper)as opposed to Asian and European equipment using BSP(British Standard Pipe).Not all that uncommon.
Yes,it does get confusing.

I have read about these things for years and thought about them but never would buy one. I picked up a unverco from the Deere dealer and it was junk. I literally could not even get it to work but their display model on the counter sure worked slick. I finally broke down a bought a lock n lube and used it for the first time a little while ago on my skid steer. Holy smokes I want to hit myself with a hammer for not buying one sooner. I have no idea how long these things last but that was the easiest greasing of the machine I have ever done. It always seems like you need a third hand when greasing something but not anymore.

Just got in a lock n lube the other day & used it for the first time today on the 1025R. Did all the fittings on backhoe & fel in maybe a third the time & zero irritation compared to the old way. Like others have said, $30 well spent & should have bought one years ago ...

The girlfriend brought me one home from work a few months ago. She works at an independent NAPA. Anyway I look at it, came with a rebuild kit. Looked at it, thought eh. Used and WOW. Great stuff. She stated a few commercial customers heard about them, so her boss ordered some. Great investment.

I just got a new Lock and Lube after 3 years of abuse. Was glad to see they now come with a rebuild kit.
