Tried on a jacket in Cavenders awhile back and was surprised that it was so tight I could barely get it zipped up. another style carhartt jacket same size fit fine.

This is what I've found with carhartt as well. If I get two shirts the same size that don't fit I look at the tag. Most of the time their made in 2 different countries neither being the U.S.

Carhartt R3 - Carhartt Arctic Bib Overall - Quilt Lined at Dungarees <<Had these 38x28 for a couple weeks now, wore them last night plowing snow, 10F and wind still blowing some, my tractor didn't like it but these bibs kept me warm, I bet they'd be good down too -10F, and 30F is too warm. If these shrink I'll have to buy a size 40x28, what I dont get is why is the leg right and waist WAY off, redonkulous. Another thing I dont get is why are these $30.00 cheaper 2000 mi. away then 35 mi. away, talk about unfair trade deals, actually more than that if one figures in gas, coffee&donuts, speeding ticket, and the emotional stress when someone gives me a hand signal.

Odd, every Carhartt item I have bought has been on the large side. Jeans, light jacket and heavier jackets are all sized, as best I can tell, to allow bulky under clothing to be worn.

I can't understand how they sold my coat for $32 and now it's $91. Should have bought three.

I've got a set of quilt lined full coveralls in 44L that are just too big for me so I'm going to sell on Craigslist. Exc condition. These retail for around $140 but you can buy them for $120. Any idea how much I should ask for them?
