I've seen these but don't have a source for different sizes, round vs square, etc. Do you?

I know what you mean. That 5/8 drill was so geared down it probably didn't turn more than about 180 RPM, and had "ship" loads of torque, which was good and bad.. That thing could twist you off of a ladder in a heartbeat.
I cant believe we have 43(counting mine) posts on how to drill a hole in thin walled pipe for a bolt.
I have a Dewalt DWD460. Tons of torque but it has bind-up control where if the drill starts to spin, it cuts out immediately. Don't have to worry about breaking your wrist![]()
