Kubota and Toyota? Hmm, you may be on to something. I have owned 3 Kubotas, 4 Toyota truckers and 8 Toyota cars. Haven't owned another brand vehicle since 1996!

You've owned more Toyota cars than I have owned total cars since 1957.

See... I think it's more Toyota & Iseki (Massey). I'm on my 6th & 7th Toyota and my 2nd Iseki.

I have a '13 Crew Cab 2wd 5.7. Great, solid truck. I have 75k miles on it now, needs a door lock actuator in the passenger door and had the charcoal canister replaced (emissions) at about 30k. Been a great truck, lived up to expectations. I will more than likely replace this one with another Tundra.

Thank you. This is great to hear. Most likely I will buy a lease return, which does not bother me at all.

Keep the posts/pics coming.

I had an '06 Tundra, so not at all the truck you are asking about, but it's still a Tundra. That truck was every bit as reliable as my Honda, and that is saying a lot. Bought it in late '06 as a lease return (17K on it) and sold it with just under 80K on it 3 years ago. I only sold it because we were towing a small (30ft) light 5th wheel and it wasn't enough power. I also knew we were going to upsize the trailer so I ended up with an '06 Duramax.

I never had a single issue with that truck. The little 4.7 was a little under powered, and my best highway mileage was 15-16. I know the 5.7 is a different animal as far as power. but the trucks have been and sounds like they still are very reliable.

Not trying to sideline your thread, but wondering how the Ram 1500 Eco Diesel would compare for YOUR needs? I would tow slightly less than the Tundra, but return much higher mileage, especially empty.

But Tundras are definitely good trucks.

BTW I agree on the electric steering and AFM, I would not like either one.
