Common to have to re-touch paint on new attachments? Part II

/ Common to have to re-touch paint on new attachments? Part II #31
When I bought my first of two Kioti's from my then new to me local dealer, I went back some time after initial purchase and bought a box blade. I don't remember the brand name, but it was new, and orange colored. The paint was faded from lot time and scratched up in a lot of places. I asked dealer to paint it and he said he would so long as I was willing to accept black instead of orange paint. I told him to mask off the stickers and detail plate, and they did a decent job painting it. Nothing fancy, just same color all round. Since then I've scratched it and since water and sandblasted it to repaint afterwards. I'm OK with what I bought, how my selling dealer dealt with my request for one color paint upon purchase/delivery; and I've put all major scratches in it myself over the years since 2009.
Case closed, move on!:dance1:

Excuse me while I go out to wash & wax my 30 year old brush cutter. Can't wait for warm weather so I can clay bar it.

Yes, but wasn't one drawn out dramatic thread enough?

Dude. That is unnecessarily harsh. I think you might need a beer? :drink:
Cheers.
:drink: sorry, not sorry.
Maybe a little bit of overreaction, but it's wholly acceptable to some.

While I agree with you to a point, I don't think calling him a clown and dogging him helps anyone. He does seem to think he's a very important person and that his deal not ours. I've shared my experience and just deal with it. Nobody reacts to these issues the same. Attacking him isn't right either though. I use my equipment. Have over 100k tied up in tractor stuff and want to keep it all nice. I keep my new trailer 35+5 with 15k axles in the shop along with my new tractor, batwing, MX15, mx8 and box blade. I'll try to paint any issues that come up and accept any damage that has happened or happens

Brett
I store ALL my equipment in buildings.
I change oil, and grease regularly, keep trickle chargers on all my batteries, and try to keep paint in good condition.
I feel so abnormal.
