Another pic of the log in it's final resting place:

The end of the tape measure is right at 13' at the top of the face cut and the bottom cut is right at 14'; I'm gonna call this one 13.5'. 24" top end, 28" at the bottom; 3,375 lbs according to the woodweb calculator posted above.

In any case it is way more than you would want accidently dropped on your foot!

Re: Largest load I'll ever pick up with my Brush Fork (pics!)

It is not as hard as it looks, here is a side view. If the loader arms are up I duck under and slide into the seat.

If it is down I step on the fork frame in go in like a skid steer.

Like me you seem to like torturing the little stuff, even though we have bigger tools in the shed.

The outer third is pretty rotten, hence why I didn't bother processing it for lumber, milled wood or even firewood.

Yep, like to use it to justify keeping it! Surprising what big jobs the little loader will do.

From 11 years ago, the only loader that I had back then:

NICE pictures all around. But what's next? Another, "I broke my front axle thread"?

Shock, like hitting something while transporting heavy loads, or placing with your excavator too roughly 3000 lbs of rock in your bucket that otherwise would never have fit, just to prove your tractor can lift and move it, is about is the only situation most front axles can't take what ever your loader can handle, then some.

I deserved what happened with the Excavator, I'm much more careful loading rocks as shown in the last photo.

L39 has 700 hours since the repair, no leaks, or failures, and the Loader capacity has been increased 20% since the attached Photos.
8 ply tires R4 skidder tires all around for safety.
