Was wondering if anyone knew what they de rated between these 2 tractors. It's the same engine with same rpm vs hp. Does anyone know if the timing is different, or programed different or what is it.

Programmed different by the dealer. No other difference with regards to the motor or chassis. The tires on the 1538 are bigger.
To date I haven't seen anyone who has been able to change the programming.

I was wondering about if it was possible to change 1533 to 1538 with a program.

Maybe programmed different by the factory but not by the dealer. My guess is that if you mess with it you'll be throwing your warranty out the window.
Im betting will be more into it than just warranty... wouldn't be able to change it either way.

Good catch! Factory installs the initial HP tune. Dealer can't/won't change the HP. They can install updated programming at the direction of Mahindra. I asked the dealer about changing HP when I got mine.
