Ford 1710 4x4 FEL-back blade-KK box blade
Morning All, I read quite a bit and decided to order a 5ft bucket teeth bar yesterday, having a 1710 4x4 my goal is to hopefully put a little less abuse on tractor while doing work with bucket, have a box blade for leveling and smoothing dirt out-so back dragging with smooth bucket edge is not a problem, any advise ??
I ordered the TITAN bolt on model, I'm sure there are heavier duty bar's-but remember I don't have a 60hp tractor...

The only advice I can give you is when you test fit the bar, don't forget to mark where you put the holes, then take the bar off to drill the holes. Either use lock washers behind your nuts or at least ny-lock nuts. Then forget about the tooth bar ever coming loose.
I used ny-locks on 1/2" gr. 8 bolts and an impact gun to tighten.

I ordered the same bar last November. Came in less than a week. Had to grind down the ends as the fit was too tight. Works great for digging, made a significant difference digging a hole. However, the teeth got in the way doing just about anything else. Moving snow, back filling, moving dirt, the teeth want to dig in, and adjusting the bucket didn't work, it just rode over the dirt pile or snow.
I ended up getting a bolt on double edge blade. Kioti's come through with pre drilled holes to attach them. I know another bucket would be easier but it's a $1,000.00 .
So I just unbolt one edge and put on the other when the job calls for it.

I would be interested in what you think of the bar... before I found a used one, I was thinking of getting that one.

Teg, I'll remember to keep you updated, they are $180, delivered on ebay it's hard to beat that, never seen a used one that wasn't beat down.

I got real lucky, the one I got was brand new... but I had to cut it down, less than an inch. Was actually buying something else and the guy offered it up for sale...

Teg, I told you I'd update you on teeth bar-and I'll say it's a must have, I dug out and rolled boulder's that would not even fit in bucket and many other uses that when it's on you realize you could not do same thing with out the teeth, well spent $180.

They are worth it... first time I popped a rock out of the ground, it flipped into my bucket and I thought, "This is the greatest thing"... It has never happen since then but it's still a great tool.

What about photos of it??? :D
