What if there's both? IMO Stihl rarely beats the power-weight-dollar ratio of a Husqvarna.
Lmao that rarely happens, usually one dealer will far trump the other, I wouldn't take my saws to a hack that doesn't know what there doing and get it back still broken.
But being I own both Husqvarna and Stihl saws, around here it's harder to find a good place to service the Husqvarna's and is far more convent on the stihl's.
When I cut, I don't even bring the huskys now, just the stihls. My go to saws are my MS 193T and my 660 magnum with a 25in bar and .404 chain.
I bought a 460 magnum and the 193T in a pawn shop for $300, the 460 was rough but the 193 was brand new, the bar wasn't scuffed, after calling my cousin he said he would buy the 460, I had less than $150 in a practically brand new 193T, the 660 I bought about 3h away with a 36in bar and 3/8 chain for $500, I bought a new bar and chain for it, replaced the sprocket guard cover and bought 2 teeth for it, it only had one before and it had short teeth, I threw that out and had my dealer fix me up with the meaty loggers teeth. Now that I have the 660 set up how I want, I love it and also love my 193T, those two saws are all I need.
I have had those saws since 2008-2010 before I even graduated HS lol, I used to cut a crap load of firewood back in those days, now not so much. Now you got me rambling about chainsaws

. I also have a 262xp husky with 20in bar, 3/8 and a 455 rancher same 20in bar 3/8 chain.
I never did use the huskys as the "Big Stuff Saw", in my opinion they don't do good on logs over 15in in diameter. Before the 660 I used a old 80cc McCulloch 1-53 with a 24in bar, loud and smelly but it cut big stuff much faster than the huskys, 20-50in oaks.

I still have that saw, I think I might restore it, isn't worth much, I gave $150 for it and cut with it for 2 years before I bought the 660. One in the vid isn't mine but cuts the same, sharpen the blade and cut all day, the manual oiler wasn't fun and the way the exhaust blows, when you get close to the ground or something that diverts the direction the exhaust blows right in your face and would make my eyes water. Heavy and extremely unbalanced but a great "Big Stuff" saw.
Top and trim branches with smaller saws and pull out the big saw for logs.
Almost forgot, terrible felling saw, turn the old girl sideways and she would die which struck me as odd being it had wrap around type handle, I felled and trimmed with the 445 rancher and cut logs with the McCulloch, I like the arborist 193 and 660 combo 1000 times more lol.
