Yeah but you own a kioti not a Mahindra - this is under Mahindra owners forum.

I definately would not say that I regret buying a tractor - its an essential tool for anyone with acreage. Looking back on it I might have purchased a different brand. Hindsight is 20/20 tho...

Yeah that is what I am looking for - people who have bought Mahindra in the past 5 years and regret it because of issues, etc. Mahindra has a good price on them, but a lot of people complain about them. More so than the other brands I have researched anyway.

You deff should have reworded that lol.

You will get responses from all types of owners about there tractors.

As far as Mahindra goes, my buddy has a 28XL tlb, he likes it and so far hasn't gave him much trouble but he does wish he bought a bigger tractor.

He's owned it for like 8 months.

Did you own a Mahindra that you regretted buying? If not.................then what are you trying to accomplish by starting this thread here? Are you going to start one of these threads in the New Holland section?

Mahindra has the best price of any tractor but the problems they have had are making me think twice - pay less now but end up paying more later on because of a lower quality product. Just trying to get as much input as possible. I don't see the same type of issues with New Holland that make me think they are cutting corners.

You should keep in mind that a lot of folks like me simply use the "new posts" link to see everything that is going on the forum.
With your post as written you will get replies from all brand owners.
If you want to limit response to a specific brand you may consider rewording your post.

Neighbor has a 70 hp cab mahindra. Less than 150 hrs. Had a it a few years. I do all their tractor work for them now if that tells you anything. It just sits under the shed. Seems it's always going in to get fixed. QC is low and it just feels cheap to sit in. Sad thing is the owner isn't motivated by price, when shopping, Deere and kubota didn't pay him much attention and mahindra capitalized which was highly unusual for that particular store.

Here's another example and I completely want it understood that this isn't the entire dealer network but rather my local dealer. I have gone in 3 times. First to look at tractors when I was shopping and two more times for parts for my buddies little tractor. Every single time, the "salesman" was sound asleep on his desk. I have only seen him wear sleeveless shirts and looks very unprofessional. I'm not a stickler for much but I got the impression of lazy. Acted like he was the owners kid....ended up he was. Was a great kid once awake and very knowledgeable but I wasn't having any part of a fraternity house tractor dealership.
