I don't know but "out sourcing" in itself can be a problem or not depending on the "where" of the out source. If anyone thinks all cultures building stuff hold to the same standards as far as craftsmanship, you're in for a rude awakening. All tractor manufacturers have their "black sheep" so to speak and any tractor can be a pain to own.

If you have a litter of 3 pups, there is less chance of having anything be wrong than if you had a litter of 11 pups. A brief case has a 90% success rate. Throw in more moving parts, different worker or management mindsets across the world and just making more product, product price points, etc ; all can lead to a failed piece now and again.
I have always thought anyone basing a purchase on "how do you like or dislike yours" is barking up a totally wrong tree. It means next to "zero" about the one you're going to buy. I mean: "I bought this tractor because I like the color" is a more substantiative reason.

Buy any tractor because of the dealership, how it fits your needs, the price and yes, even the color along with whatever else YOU need as a criteria and to **** with the unknown that the future can bring as it's the only thing you don't know atom about. Why base a purchase on what one doesn't know? It's like asking somebody "how do you like your wife" as a criteria about getting married or not.

If you ask people to 'tell me about your problems' then all you'll get are stories about problems. Heck, most of the time people only talk about the trials and tribulations on something.

Me? I bought a eMax25 HST for 3 reasons:

1 - Size: I wanted a tractor but needed to stay small. Compared SCUTs to CUTs side by side in most brands I could get to touch.
2 - Capacity: Because of the size constraint I wanted to get the most HP and Lift.
3 - Price: Balanced #1 and #2 with location, warranty and cost

Problems so far? None.

That's cause I asked key questions James: "How do you like tractors darling" and: "Instead of an engagement ring, can we buy this tractor first?" When she said "I think tractors are sexy" (way before the song came out) and "we need a tractor more than an engagement ring", I could have made her pregnant right then without being nekked.

I like the way you and her think.

A few weeks ago I took a lightning hit that "bricked" one of my radios. After checking with homeowners insurance (too high of a deductible) and consulting with her, she said, "how much is it going to cost to replace it?", I said, "about $800". She said "is there anything any better you would rather have?". Says I, "yes, the Icom 7300, but it is $1349". She says, "order it!".

Yep an understanding wife can be nice!:) The Icom 7300 is about 5 times the radio in capabilities and features to the Yaesu Ft450 it replaces.

I have had a couple of issues with my 2565 (mainly the AC quit working & then the plastic pulley burned up & broke the belt), but the warranty took care of all of it. A lot of my issues were because this is my 1st tractor & I got absolutely no training from my dealer. My biggest issue is that I didn't know what I needed in the implement department & was sold a Bush Hog brand rotary cutter that is no where near heavy enough for clearing land. I have bent it all up & will never buy a Bush Hog brand anything ever again. The heavier models may be ok, but this thing is literally falling apart on me. As far as the Mahindra, I can't really complain as it has taken all the jobs I have given it & it has always performed well. I don't think the perfect tractor that has no issues, & everyone loves has been invented yet. The Mahindra has a better price point, more lift capacity, & weighs more than most if not all competitors on the market. I'll stick with, & recommend them & that's my $0.02 worth!
