OK, been poking around there, but not really touching anything LOL
I have both the AR150 and AR300M.

If you visit GLI – WiFi for Things there is more info and a forum.
10-4.
I poked around the openWRT forums, but not that one.

Is anybody using this with Skype or some other VOIP service? I work at home and pay through the nose for a max of 8mbs. It is slow but reliable.

Mobley sounds great but I have to have reliable service.

Yes. I frequently work from home using VPN to my company and do everything from my work laptop including Outlook, normal Office apps, Jabber for IM, and softphone (VOIP) through Jabber. Using the Mobley actually works way better than my "5Mb/s" (which is often 1-2) DSL. Rock solid connection. My VPN, which is very sensitive to Internet connection disruptions, can stay connected for days if I leave it.

Yeah, not only did I order one today, but it shipped today as well. Also excited to have been able to order it from att with the connected car service so that I won't have to deal with customer support **** that everyone went through getting it elsewhere. But, we'll see

Tomorrow is the last day of my billing cycle. Checked usage and it looks like I'm at just under 63GB of data use for my Mobley in the first full month. Checked speeds and still as fast as ever: 26Mb/s down and 10Mb/s up.

Thanks. Do you happen to have an ATT cell also? Is it as fast as the Mobley?

My wife has ATT so we did a speed test and only got 6mbps at night. Slower than my slow internet already. Not sure if or why Mobley would be faster than her cell.

My procrastination got me again. Yesterday I had one in the shopping cart at ATT with the connected car plan and didn't follow through with the check out. I was trying to find a friend with ATT service to come by and do a speed test or see if they even had service from my house. That didn't pan out so I went back in the ATT web site to follow through with an order and it's telling me the item is no longer available.

My Samsung Galaxy S6 Active is also on AT&T. It blows the Mobely away as far as speeds go. I usually get 50-65Mb/s. The high-end mobile phones use different/better technology to gain faster speeds. But I'm not complaining about the 25 I get with the Mobley. Worlds better than my crappy DSL. As far as your situation, I would not expect anything better than the phone gets, unless it is some really old phone with ancient technology.
