My procrastination got me again. Yesterday I had one in the shopping cart at ATT with the connected car plan and didn't follow through with the check out. I was trying to find a friend with ATT service to come by and do a speed test or see if they even had service from my house. That didn't pan out so I went back in the ATT web site to follow through with an order and it's telling me the item is no longer available.

Dang that stinks, hopefully will be back in stock again soon.

Looks like it wont let me add it to a cart, but it still shows up through the main connected car page. I wonder if it isn't just the holiday weekend.

I've got a back-up plan, but this looks like the best option for the new house.

Yeah, not only did I order one today, but it shipped today as well. Also excited to have been able to order it from att with the connected car service so that I won't have to deal with customer support **** that everyone went through getting it elsewhere. But, we'll see

Just got the mobley, simply plugged it into the car and it started working, no need to go through activation.
Next step, get the router and stuff. I might just order another for actual use in the car as well.

UGH! Clicked on the "why do we need your SS number". Popup say you give them the right to pull and use your credit info any time they want. No Thanks!

Just imagine who's pulling your credit without your knowledge (or consent)

EDIT: I pulled my reports and have very few unsolicited inquiries. Those are listed as soft inquiries that do not effect my credit score and are only supposed to be shared with me as in credit card offers.

All I can say is I read AT&Ts terms for allowing them to have my SS number and I disagreed with them.

It's a fact of life these days. What's the big deal? I've never worried about it when dealing with reputable companies. I'm selective about things like that but not overly guarded and I've never had an identity theft issue or other problems. And my credit score is stellar so the types of minor checking they must do apparently is not a negative to that.
