I use a Tracfone on AT&T's network (no account) and my wife has her own separate cell phone account with AT&T along with her corporate discount (same employer). This way we never have to worry about her cell account jacking with our unlimited home phone or the Mobley.

So you suggest I ditch my cellphones and you cite your low cost example of how to get service while conveniently omitting that you have at least 2 cell phones and even another account not included in your numbers. Sorry, but that comes across as somewhat disingenuous. My apologies for my somewhat snarky response, but I suspected we weren't getting a full picture.

I thought we were just talking about HOME phone/device usage AND a commentary on AT&T/DirecTV bundles not being such great deals. Where did I say I had no cell phones?

My Mobley has been working great in my car. Been using it instead of my verizon cell data.

I've noticed recently that the T-Mobile Asus router isn't happy when the Mobley disconnects. The other day I took the Mobley out to use in the vehicle and then brought it back later. Plugged it all back in but the Asus wouldn't detect the Mobely as an Internet source. I had to go into the Asus admin page for the USB stuff and just click 'Apply' to get it to re-do things and become aware of the Mobley again. Prior to that I tried various combinations of unplugging power and booting up one piece at a time, which did nothing. Then the power went out this morning during a big storm here and the same thing happened again. Not the biggest deal in the world, but it would sure be nice if it just auto-detected things and started working again.

I had a similar issue. Seems the USB port on the router kinda went to sleep. However, I just unplugged the USB cable from the router and plugged it back in and all was good. The USB link light was out also when it wasn't working. However the Mobley was still working all this time and I could connect to it. This has only happened once in about a month worth of use. So still for $20 a month it is well worth it.

Is there any place I can get the Mobley now, or am I to late to the party. Reason I haven't jump onto this was at&t signal quality, which is very spotty. Just now though I had someone here with at&t service and signal is good at my house.

So you unplugged the cable from the back of the router, not from the Mobley? Because I plugged, unplugged, and re-plugged it in on the Mobley end without any effect. I'd be surprised if it made a difference that the cable actually being removed from the router side would change anything, but who knows? If I get the 'opportunity' again I will try your suggestion.

Thanks,
Rob

Correct, I install routers daily as a broadband tech so I was surprised as well. The USB 3.0 led was out until I unplugged it from the router and plugged it back in. For me restarting the Mobley and the Router had no affect until I unplugged the USB then I got the link light. It could have been a combination of all 3 things that fixed it, who knows. I did try the power cycle first on both devices.

Best to monitor AT&T site. Last one I ordered it said order of stock in one place, order came with a late June expected delivery, shipped via FedEx, activated, the next day.
