after seeing the pics of the new quick attach/detach loader on 80 series - it looks slick - but now i am convinced if it on a uneven ground - you may have a mess like op did. but then -- op needs to stop what he is doing. using the power of hydraulics when inexperienced is a fast way of causing damages. I honestly dont see a way out of this. looks like a over head lift will be needed in the hands of a mechanic. There WILL be more damages but its inevitable. all i can see is the shop will need to replace all scratched parts, replace order new loader . check alignment of the mounted posts on BX. I would suggest to ask the dealer for a loaner mowing machine while the new bx sits in shop. i dont think they can get it back to him under a week.
i understand that buying a new toy and you having problems like this really hurts - i just hope you dont have a tainted feelings towards kubota -- i just love my bx24 for nearly a decade. i am sure you will too -- perhaps , now you will learn to have patience if something is not right.
all i can say right now is - just please. wait for the shop guy to look at it regardless how bad he might be - at least it will be in the hands of the "dealer" .

It looks like the stand drops down on its own and there is some kind of latch to hold the loader on instead of pins. The OP would have to see a tractor like mine to see the difference.

To the OP, everyone has to start somewhere. A BX is a pretty good machine to start on, you'll get it right next time.

I'm a farmer and started driving with real farm tractors when I was 6 years old.

This forum has intelligent people who think outside the box of agriculture. People who have time and resources to make modifications.

Unfortunately there are also a segment of people who should be put on a safety stand down.

To the OP. $$$$ check book $$$$ USE that before you kill yourself or someone else. (Lawn service)

Or HIRE a mentor.

I made the first reply to the OP and tried very nicely to suggest contacting the dealer to get someone on site with some knowledge and experience to minimize further damage.

I said this because to me it is obvious the OP is new to equipment and does not know how easy it is to be severely injured even with a little BX.

Us old guys have seen and experienced a lot and know when to bring in some help.

I understand where the OP is coming from, when younger I used to try to do everything myself and got into some interesting yet costly situations!

In imagine 3724 of the right hand side the lock is engaged. I don't think it will ever lock on if the lock is closed.

Oh how often I have "complicated" an initial problem by just trying to see if I just might "solve" the problem. Sorry for the OP's issue...glad he has the Kubota insurance and hope all gets back to "new". If I ever get my first tractor I hope I will remember well the OP's misfortune...my history may imply otherwise :)

OP...please keep us posted as you resolve your dilemma...TMR

Don't fret, OP. My 70-Series came with a park stand incorrectly welded. On FLAT ground, I need to set a 5/8" shim under the stand to get it to attach/detach properly. Only after manually wrestling it for 6 months did I discover the issue and tweak it with a block of plywood to make the factory blunder go away.

Maybe I am reading the wrong. The OP made a simple mistake of not having the FEL seated in the hook before he lifted it. It could happen to anyone. It isn't like he dug into an underground power line, or tried to push down a tree with his tractor. He then tried to correct it and made things worse... on the tractor... nothing else. I am sure he feels bad enough damaging a pricey piece of equipment without you making comments like this. I just don't think this was helpful, or necessary.

"Yeah, I should have stopped but I figured i'd give it one last try get it straightened out. It's already messed up so how much worse can it get? At least that was my thought. I understand what you guys are saying though. I should have left it alone. At this point, I just want it out of my garage. "

How much worse. How much worse.......(let that soak into your nightmares)

I spent 9 years as an EMT. I have seen what a guy who didn't think it could get much worse did to himself with a Kubota. I've listened to his wife screaming her disbelief that he didn't understand what he was doing.

He's got hydralic leaks. I've been lucky to not have to have delt with a victim of an injection. Do you believe the OP knows what happens if he injects himself? Or that he can?

I don't know anything about the tractor in question. However I imagine that there is an option to use lower and slower range. Every tractor neophyte I've been around has the idea they can't use any function at idle. His "I want it out of my garage" statement is one of someone who didn't slow it down and realize that it wasn't the tractor's fault. What rpm did the op make his attachment attempts?

Marketing of these machines, as per previous comments, is of utmost simplicity and safety. The reality is that operation requires more than what a lot of people have to start with.

Stand down and get more training.

Couldn't 2 neighbors and the OP just pick that loader up (off the grill guard) and twist it around straight? It can't be more than 300-400 pounds.
