Dealer told me that ordering a tractor with a little money down locks in the deal with whatever current incentives exist. Hey John Thomas, I might check with Barlows and see what they can do as a comparison.
You're talking about any & every tractor that shows up on their lot, right? No money down required with Barlow or he didn't for me. May be a small trust issue with your dealer. Barlow knows I'll take it and even if I don't he can sell it.
New Kubotas for the most part belong to Kubota, not the dealer. Dealer sells them but checks the day the order is entered for their (Dealers) exact cost. All used tractors/equipment on Barlows lot belongs to Barlow. You're talking about any & every tractor that shows up on their lot, right?![]()
Probably any dealer could/would/should tell you that every month. The dealer may have hints but the actual details aren't rec'd by dealer until the first day of the month. Incentives can change up or down thru the month has been my experience. I've made deals and came back a few days later and Steve Barlow checks for the exact cost and incentives that day and has lowered my price by around $300 one time. Again, they don't operate like car/truck dealers. My dealer just told me after June 30th, Incentives are changing. I didn't get details.
I was talking more about Barlow's knowing you would buy every tractor that comes across their lot than financing details...
