JD 755 Diesel no start

NO start. No click. Test light power everywhere. Running great for 15 years, finished lawn, washed her down, put her away, -like always- and next morning; dead.
Have tech and operators and have used troubleshooting to no avail. Any help thanks.

Replaced starter and solenoid and no change. All starter safeties check out.

Have you checked all your grounds...the 55s have multiple grounds as identified in your service manual

Checked all grounds and have good battery.

Will try that in a few minutes. According to the TM, there are four grounds to check. Where is "pedestal ground at steering column support". There is a pic, but I can't tell where it is?

Checked all grounds and have good battery.

Though I am uncertain about "pedestal ground".

Where would problem be indicated by that test? I see the wire traces into wire wrap back towards the dash.

don't check the grounds, take them apart and clean them then re-attach, those are notorious for having ground problems where the ground cable from the battery connects to the tractor. wire brush it bright, put some dielectric grease on it and tighten back up

There is a ground wire on the right front motor mount. Make sure it is tight and not broken. They have a history of breaking from vibration.

Clean as a whistle as are each I have found. Still no action. Have power to starter wire to solenoid.

Yes, there is power there at solenoid. NO action yet. cleaned every ground. Followed TM to the letter so far.

I cannot get the starter to engage at all; no sound at solenoid either.

Are the starter and solenoid you replace with brand new?

Did you check operation of said devices before putting them on the machine?

Can you post the wiring diagram here on TBN?

Well, I can't say if it was the grounds or the battery. All RE-cleaned and re-set/tightened and she came to life as if she had never been dead. Keep at it an never give up! THX. for all the help!
