Good morning!!!!

where are the lawn fairies to mow our lawns while we are away?

good meeting with insurance agent, he showed me where I actually had 25 percent more
dwelling coverage than the policy limit, per endorsement. So I'm ok.

Even better...he said buy any fast car i wanted. Just don't have drivers under 22, period.
Shelby GT350 no problem, all Corvettes, no problem.
Insurance companies must be making money to not bat an eye at this stuff.
having spent many years on the other side saying no no no to families with 16 year old drivers and Dad with a W-30 442
that you just know Junior will get his hands on. The other underwriters at Travelers Insurance used to bring me descriptions of cars
because each symbol in the VIN means something. Decode it and you find out that inexpensive Galaxie has a side oiler 427 in it.
Toppop must be cringing, I wonder if I turned him down once upon a time :D, you just know he was packing some serious horsepower.

It's time to buy a gasoline fun car to keep, before we have nothing but electrics left.
Trying to find one that doesn't depreciate like crazy is the challenge.

When I turned 18 I was driving a '68 GTX with a Petty Enterprises Hemi. I worked to pay for all of it though, even the insurance that had higher monthly payments than the car.

me too, except for the hemi....though insurance was subsidized by my slave labor on the farm.
And I got the short end of the stick on that one.

That hemi GTX could be worth over a hundred grand now. Amazing...

big full eclipse coming in August. Are any of you in the path?
Just misses me on the coast.

68°F and .31 inches rain

Kekoa off to vet this morning for his de nutting. As a male I feel somewhat bad, but it's also the responsible thing to do.

Be safe
Have a great day.

Good Morning!
Ah, what a honor to post right after Lazarus (if I type fast enough). This morning thread sure starts early.

73˚ heading to 99˚ or with the spider web in my Acurite weather station keeping the solar fan from spinning it will surely show 112˚ again.

I'm going to the Tuesday's Farmers market to get some cucumbers and okra and whatever looks good and stop by and visit Dad.

My front fence line weed eating project got delayed a few days while I do chores for Mom and Dad. It looks like it will be fall before I complete it doing a few hours a week early in the morning only.

edit: typed too slow, 4th post after ED.

I will just have to type slower. Start using one finger instead of two.

Man, if I had known this many people liked me I would have run for pres e dent. Thanks guys. Ed
